So you failed the test, no big deal. At Scheurman's K9 Academy we know your frustration, and how disheartening it can be. It is not a reflection of you or your dog, just a glitch to overcome. If you graduated Scheurman's k9 Academy's Basic Obedience program 5 months ago, and your obedience slipped, you know we can get you back on track. If you never took Scheurman's k9 Academy's basic obedience program, you learned that not all trainers are alike. Not all trainers are Certified Master Dog trainers, and not all Basic Obedience programs are alike. In any case the good news is we are going to help you! Example: You sign up for the $500.00 group intermediate gold package and you did not pass the final test in basic obedience or its been longer then 30 days since your graduation from Scheurman's K9 Academy or you are coming from another trainer, you will be tested in to the intermediate program. If you pass the test, welcome to Intermediate! Now what if you don't pass: It is not the end of the world. Your ($500.00, $400.00 or $300.00) membership fee will be used towards the best fit Combination Basic Obedience and Intermediate Obedience Program. In the example above you paid $500.00 membership fee online for the intermediate group class, but failed the test in. You would be placed in the $400.00 combination Basic Obedience group class and the group combination Intermediate class, which has the same class fees $10.00 per class. After we deduct the $40.00 from the balance, for the test in fees, the balance of $60.00 would go towards your class fees starting with your first basic obedience class. IF you paid $400.00 membership fee online for the intermediate group class, but failed the test in. You would be placed in the $300.00 combination Basic Obedience group class and the group combination Intermediate class, which has the same class fees $15.00 per class. After we deduct the $40.00 from the balance, for the test in fees, the balance of $60.00 would go towards your class fees starting with your first basic obedience class. If you paid $300.00 membership fee online for the intermediate group class, but failed the test in. You would be placed in the $200.00 combination Basic Obedience group class and the group combination Intermediate class, which has the same class fees $20.00 per class. After we deduct the $40.00 from the balance, for the test in fees, the balance of $60.00 would go towards your class fees starting with your first basic obedience class. As you can see you won't lose any money, it will just take more time.
